Return and refund policy

With us you always have the opportunity to return goods within certain limits. Please read our guidelines before making a return.

1. Right of withdrawal (Open purchase)

You have a 30-day right of withdrawal from the date you receive the item, provided that:

  • The packaging is undamaged.
  • The product is unused.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

For reasons of hygiene and health, the right of withdrawal only applies if the seal is unbroken on the following products:

  • Sealed perfume bottles
  • Makeup
  • Hygiene products

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Custom-made items
  • Fresh produce
  • Products made to order
  • Used electronic components
  • Products on SALE (open purchase or exchange rights do not apply here)

2. Return process

  1. Contact us at info@ricohome.co with your order number and reason for return.  
  2. Download and fill out the cancellation form (PDF).
  3. Put the form in the package and send a copy by email.
  4. Pack the product well to avoid damage.
  5. Label the package with your name and order number.
  6. Send with trackable shipping and send us the tracking number.

3. Returns in case of errors, damage or defective products

If you receive a product that is damaged, incorrect or defective, please contact us within 30 days of receipt. We will cover the return shipping in such cases and you will receive a refund or replacement.

4. Refund

Refunds will be processed once the return has been received and inspected. Approved refunds will be credited back to your original payment method within 1-3 business days . 

We are not responsible for packages that are lost during return - so always keep your tracking number.

5. Return shipping

In the event of a right of withdrawal, you as the customer are responsible for the return shipping. In the event of a faulty or damaged product, we will cover the shipping.

6. Unclaimed packages

Packages that are not picked up and returned to us will be charged a fee of 36.75 GBP for return shipping and administration.  

7. Customs and duties

Products can be shipped directly from our overseas warehouses. As a customer, you are responsible for any VAT and customs duties upon import. This is handled by the UK Customs or the shipping company.    

8. Cancellation

You can cancel an order within 24 hours of shipment. After that, you must follow the returns process above.
